Dytkosia celebrated its first anniversary since independence. On May 24, 2024, Bennett Dytko conceived the idea of creating a micronation at K&W Drive-In near Springboro, Ohio, that would encompass the landmass of their home in Centerville, Ohio. Inspired by other notable micronations such as Sealand, Molossia, and the Aerican Empire, the Dytko family - Bennett, Jeff, Paula, and Juliet - began to shape their new nation.
